I’m Adam, a Boston-based designer, photographer, and firm believer that the best ideas come from pushing boundaries. With a focus on book and layout design, digital art, and food photography, my work bridges art and design—blending precision with imagination to create visuals that captivate and communicate.
I’m no stranger to juggling multiple projects at once. Whether I’m working full-time, developing new recipes, or designing my next book, I thrive in fast-paced, creative environments and know how to handle curveballs with adaptability and fresh ideas.
When I’m not designing, I’m probably baking, reading, or hanging out with my husband and our three cats. I’m currently seeking new opportunities with forward-thinking teams where I can take on greater responsibility, push creative boundaries, and collaborate with like-minded individuals. HIGHLIGHTS
Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD)
ABCD is a national corporation with 19 unique locations across the Greater Boston area. I currently work in the Boston central office in the Public Information Department as a graphic designer. As one of only two designers—working alongside my senior—I play a key role in managing a wide range of projects across various platforms. With a strong emphasis on print and marketing design, my work supports the organization’s outreach, branding, and communications efforts, ensuring consistency and impact across all locations. Most recently I spearheaded a paid ad campaign for the Boston MBTA.
COOKBOOKS
Outside of my professional work, I bring all my passions together through my cookbooks. Combining my love for baking, food photography, and writing, I create recipes that are as visually stunning as they are delicious. As an avid reader, I’ve added a literary twist to my latest projects, blending storytelling with the art of baking to create a truly unique experience. Each recipe is inspired by the books I love, inviting readers to indulge in flavors that bring stories to life.
FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY
In addition to my work as a designer, I also specialize in food photography. Whether it’s showcasing recipes from cookbooks I’ve written, capturing dishes for restaurants I’ve worked with, or simply photographing meals created in my own kitchen, I’m drawn to the artistry of food. My approach is all about celebrating the beauty of what’s on the plate, capturing the colors, textures, and stories behind each dish.
